21 companies in Central Denmark are working with circular economy

The project Rethink Business under Innonet Lifestyle – Interior & Clothing is aiming to create growth and green business models in the region of Central Denmark. Many companies have already taken the first small steps towards green transition

Rethink Business is now halfway through the project, and 21 companies from the region are currently in the process of developing new green business models for the benefit of both economy and the environment. Some companies have already made action plans through the consultants COWI and Vugge til Vugge Denmark, while other companies have started to implement, test and put their plans into practice.

The companies are small – and medium-sized working primarily within production and manufacturing, and here many industries are represented: Furniture design, construction, roofing , fabric and textile, machinery, scrap and processing of scrap metal.

Use ressources efficiently and make money

In Rethink Business our aim is to strengthen the development of green business models by helping 40 companies to find places in their production, where they can use their resources better and make money on waste. This will be achieved by developing models that are based on the mindset behind the circular economy and Cradle 2 Cradle.

The project is both aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises and at municipalities, where we work to strengthen public and private cooperation in innovative projects with a circular economy.

At the moment, new companies are being screened into the project, but there are still room for more companies that are interested in developing business that wish to reduce waste, recycle materials and resources.

Participation requires that you meet the following :

• The company is danish
• The company is either small or medium sized
• The company is a manufacturing or production company
• The company must be located in the Region of Central
