The working Group Meeting 1 in the Voluntary Sector Collaboration on Textiles brings together companies and key stakeholders on 26 March 2026.
The working group meetings within the Voluntary Sector Collaboration on Textiles bring together committed companies and key stakeholders around shared challenges and opportunities in the textile and lifestyle sector. The meetings provide a trusted and practice oriented space where participants share experiences, discuss concrete challenges and develop solutions together.
Through expert presentations, dialogue and exchange of experience, participants gain new knowledge, inspiration and the opportunity to influence the direction of the joint work towards the shared goals. The working groups are aimed at companies that want to move from ambition to action and that see the value in addressing complex agendas through collaboration.
Participation provides access to a strong network, insight into current trends and the opportunity to actively contribute to the development of future solutions in the sector. The day is structured so that part of the programme is open to all interested participants, while another part of the programme is reserved for LDC members and signatories of the Sector Collaboration. Regulation is shifting, but the direction is clear: the circular transition of textiles is accelerating. Hosted by Borch Textiles Group, this working group meeting will explore why regulatory developments must still be taken seriously despite ongoing adjustments.
With insights on the latest regulatory developements from Danish Chamber of Commerce and company cases we will look at the potential consequences for the shared Sector Collaboration goals and discuss how regulations can be used strategically to drive innovation, strengthen data foundations and deepen supplier collaboration.
Concretely, we will also dive further into the latest ESPR developments with regards to recycled fibres and specifically rPET, and discuss what these developments can mean for our shared targets on recycled fibres.
