Lifestyle and Design Cluster’s new Aarhus hub focuses on fashion, design, furniture, lifestyle, entrepreneurship, circularity, and innovation.
Lifestyle Hub Aarhus opens on December 1, 2025, becoming a central meeting place for companies from fashion, furniture, and design – as well as related industries – who wish to be part of the creative environment.
Here, established brands live side by side with entrepreneurs, students, and knowledge institutions in a community buzzing with development, collaboration, and innovation.
Lifestyle Hub is established by Lifestyle and Design Cluster and located in Aarhus Sydhavn – a new, creative, and dynamic district filled with students, entrepreneurs, galleries, shops, hotels, restaurants, and co-working spaces.
The house will become the new meeting place for the lifestyle industry:
“…it will be one of Denmark’s very first creative lifestyle hubs. I’ve seen similar concepts in London and New York, and I know that something happens when someone from online tech sits next to someone from a graphic company, who’s talking to a clothing designer who just spoke with a furniture maker… Creativity emerges when different worlds meet.”
Get access to modern office spaces in the heart of Aarhus’ vibrant Sydhavn – and gain the entire lifestyle industry as your neighbor.
Give your employees and clients inspiring surroundings with meeting rooms, showrooms, shared areas, and a rooftop terrace – all designed for growth, networking, and new opportunities.

Showroom
Several spaces are well-suited for showrooms, with direct street access in a lively neighborhood with plenty of foot traffic.
An exciting business district is emerging
The Sydhavn district is becoming a melting pot where you can walk through the neighborhood and experience its history – from the Coal Crane Track and the old slaughterhouse to the cobbled Jægergårdsgade and the oil mill (AAK) – while also discovering new iconic buildings, a diversity of people and businesses, and vibrant street art. It’s a mixed-use and lively urban business district developed with respect for the existing structures and heritage of the area.
In addition to Lifestyle Hub Aarhus, the new neighborhood will include the 26-story office building Akson, the hotels Guldsmeden Hotels and Moxy, the music venue Train, The Jutland Art Academy, Aarhus Center for Visual Art, VIA Design, and Sydhavnens Spisehus.
One of the goals of the development is to integrate Sydhavnen as a natural part of the surrounding city – but now with new functions. With its central location in Aarhus and a total area of about 47,000 m², the district has every opportunity to become an exceptionally attractive new city area. Most of the existing, historically significant buildings will be preserved and transformed for new purposes.
Construction of Sydhavnen began in 1905 as a new harbor area alongside Frederiksbjerg. The purpose was to create space for industrial companies that needed proximity to shipping routes.
The construction is led by A. Enggaard, a Danish contractor and developer. When residents and companies begin moving in from 2025, Sydhavnen will host a strong mix of tenants – from fashion and lifestyle businesses to organizations working with socially disadvantaged groups. The district will also feature hotels, restaurants, cafés, health and fitness facilities, and a creative cluster focused on art, gaming, and animation, including The Jutland Art Academy.
