The Trace partnership is launching a pool of 40 million Danish kroner for projects that promote the circular transition within the plastics and textiles industries.

With funds from NextGenerationEU/Innovationsfonden, projects focusing on infrastructure that support or create more circular solutions are sought.

This could include value chains, logistics, digital platforms, data, citizen engagement and communication, or entirely new and innovative ideas.

Both the textile and plastics industries face a wide range of challenges in becoming more circular, from material development, design solutions, production, logistics, take-back schemes, sorting, reuse, and/or recycling - to overarching infrastructure.

Trace therefore invites and challenges companies within the industries to participate in innovation workshops for establishing projects in collaboration with public organizations and Denmark's leading educational institutions.

The aim is to define projects based on innovative ideas or research proposals that can address the challenge of developing a circular infrastructure.

Engage in project teams/consortia across disciplines with the necessary skills to implement the project and create both output and impact.
