Two young entrepreneurs display their business in reinvented hits on Sylab. With innovative materials they take up the fight against the throw-away culture lot of wastage.

Entrepreneur Stine Dengsø’ve always gone with the idea of becoming independent. Now she sits on Sylab and revives old and used bedding items from hospitals . The order comes from Niels Mikkelsen Trikotagefabrik in Ikast, delivering patients underwear for Danish hospitals. Stine Dengsø breathes new life into the traditional, blue-striped hospital linens when she transforms it into fine kids bedding. Recycling technique, she also used to create shopping bag and tote bags out of old banners from Exhibition Centre Herning.

Another of entrepreneurs in Sylab is Stine Sander Mann, who with his MA from Chelsea College of Arts. Stine specializes in sustainable design and through her studies she found her design DNA of waste materials. In the project, she developed performance wrear to the Danish-Japanese artist Ida Kudo, where her dual ethnicity and cultural clash was the design starting point. her master project sparked a lot of ideas that Stine Sandermann right now is testing at the Sylab.
