Jan Gehl and Pil Bredahl examine design’s role at a time of climate pressure and shifting values. The conversation explores how design shapes society, behaviour and systems, and reflects on its ethical responsibility beyond aesthetics, novelty and production.

The debate brings insights from design experiments to explore how imperfections are a cultural stance on what is valued, preserved, and rejected. In a conversation about how flaws, traces, patina, and material irregularities should no longer be treated as weaknesses, but as a new kind of aesthetic.​
