“The trip to South Korea in 2024 with Lifestyle & Design Cluster gave us a unique opportunity to explore a new market, understand the Korean innovation ecosystem, and build important connections. We gained insights into both consumer trends and technological solutions – and access to a market that is otherwise difficult to break into.”

A unique launchpad for innovation and market insights

Why South Korea?

South Korea is a global powerhouse for design, technology, and new materials. It is one of the world’s most digitalized societies and a trendsetter across Asia.

Innovation Camp builds on previous successful partnerships with ICDK Seoul, where LDC has carried out camps on smart textiles, the metaverse, and new export strategies. The camp provides access to key players such as KOFOTI, Ewha University, XR hubs, and the design sector – making it a unique springboard for Danish companies and researchers with global ambitions.

A unique launchpad for innovation and market insights

South Korea is the world’s most digitally advanced society and has established itself as a global powerhouse in lifestyle, design, material technology, and e-commerce. The country is a trendsetter across Asia and home to K-beauty, K-fashion, and pioneering metaverse platforms. Innovation Camp builds on successful past partnerships between Lifestyle & Design Cluster and the Innovation Centre in Seoul, where Danish companies and researchers have gained direct access to South Korean networks and test environments.

  • Access key players in smart fashion, XR retail, and the future of e-commerce

  • Draw inspiration from Seoul Design Week and connect with leading South Korean companies, universities, and innovation communities
