#16 Network Meeting / Circular Furniture Newtork

Building What's Next

On 8 September, Circular Furniture Network will gather for Network Meeting #16 at HAY House in Copenhagen.

The day will focus on some of the topics currently shaping the industry – from AI, EUDR and organisational change to the challenges and opportunities we should continue exploring together as a network.

We begin with our host HAY, where Laura Elgaard, Compliance Systems & Data Coordinator, and Rasmus Urbak, Business Process Manager, will share their experiences of how AI is finding its way into everyday work.

We then turn to the network with What's on your mind?, facilitated by the CFN Steering Group together with Maria Hørmann and Frederik Thrane from Lifestyle and Design Cluster. What challenges are companies facing right now, and where could it make sense to join forces? We will revisit both new and existing challenges and explore where shared needs could lead to new knowledge, activities or collaborative solutions.

This leads directly into the launch of AI for Circular Advantage together with Sif Bernstorff Lehmann from Alexandra Institute and the CFN Steering Group. The project has grown directly out of the work in Circular Furniture Network and is a concrete example of how a shared challenge can develop into a collaborative project.

Not a member of Circular Furniture Network, but curious about AI for Circular Advantage?

This part of the network meeting will be open for online participation, giving interested companies the opportunity to learn more about the project and how to get involved. Read more and sign up for the online information session here.

After lunch, Curtis Higson, Sustainability Specialist at Preferred by Nature, will bring us up to speed on a topic very much top of mind across the industry right now: EUDR. The session will be shaped around questions and real-life challenges submitted by CFN members, keeping the focus firmly on what companies are dealing with in practice.

We close the day with Trine Pondal, Director of Sustainability & Social Responsibility at Flying Tiger Copenhagen, and From Sustainability Ambition to Collective Action. Drawing on concrete experiences from Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Trine will explore how to build engagement, ownership and lasting change when sustainability needs to become embedded across an organisation.

The network meeting is for members of Circular Furniture Network.

The annual network events in the Circular Furniture Network bring members together around the most relevant and current topics within circular transition, business development and collaboration. The day is typically divided into two parts: one focusing on professional and practice-based knowledge sharing from relevant experts, and another dedicated to joint work on concrete projects, idea development and collaboration across the network.

Participation in the network events is reserved for members and requires admission to the network.
