Get Restarted

Conference in New Materials, Production Techniques and Business Models for a Sustainable Future.

We are preparing for a future where circular business models and sustainable products will out conquer the existing, and an unavoidable change is just around the corner. The conference will focus on how to restart the lifestyle and design industry within both fashion and furniture, with new sustainable materials and production techniques that challenges the existence of businesses as we know them today.

The vision for this conference is to contribute and share the latest knowledge about new materials and production methods for a sustainable future in the Lifestyle and design industry, and at the same time help to strengthen the relationships in the industry by network between institutions, students and the business community.

Experience a living conference with talks, debates, workshops, exhibitions and plenty of opportunities for networking. Meet researchers, product developers, manufacturers, designers, architects, young entrepreneurs, students and many others with an interest in the lifestyle and design industry. Experience two exciting days with the opportunity to pick and select from a tightly packed program.

New Materials and technologies often lead to new business models, in which it makes good synergy to share knowledge and experiences across the Lifestyle and Design Cluster project portfolio. The conference is particularly a collaboration between two of Lifestyle & Design Cluster’s projects, Materiale Hub and Let’s Get Started. Both projects with a special focus at all Lifestyle and Design Cluster’s professional areas within fashion, furniture, circular economy and entrepreneurship.

The conference is an activity in the Lifestyle and Design Cluster and is co-financed by the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science.

The conference’s workshop activities are an activity in the Lifestyle and Design Cluster and are co-financed by the Danish Board of Business Development.
