Christmas greetings from the CEO
Lifestyle & Design Cluster has had an amazing year with exciting activities evolving around interior, clothing and the creative businesses.
Meanwhile, we are working with all sorts of businesses regarding circular economy and digitalization. On the digitalization side, you can read more about that in our big report of Digital Growth Culture, which contains the first 100 screenings of the small and medium sized companies.
2017 offered a wide range of excellent collaborations with Lifestyle & Design Cluster serving as the facilitating partner, who takes pride in succeeding with building bridge between all our partners. We would like to take the time to thank all partners for being a part of your cluster- and network activities in the year that has passed.
We have had more than 40 partners participating in our activities, more than 350 companies working with us and a much higher number has turned up to participate in our arrangements.
Our focus on internationalizing the latest three years have also been highly visible in 2017 with study trips to South Korea, entrepreneurs participating in trade fairs for furniture and interior in Helsinki, the Nordic Buzz Interreg project, Nordic Furniture collaborations with a trip to Oslo, BaltSenior EU furniture project and the MidtNet China program. All international activities also had a lot of passionate participants and with our partners in the MidtNet China we published a guide to entering the Chinese market.
Many of the results from these projects can be found in our case-section and can be read over Christmas.
We still have a lot of ideas, lots of inspiration and experimenting activities. 2018 offers a wide variety of them, so stay tuned. We cannot wait to crack open all the new possibilities.
From all of us here in Lifestyle & Design Cluster we wish you and your loved ones a happy and prosperous Christmas and new year.
Best regards
Betina Simonsen
