Danish Pulse – A design exebition in Shanghai

In these weeks Danish design gets massive exposure in Shanghai, where the exhibition ‘Danish Pulse’ opened in the beginning of December. Chinese design enthusiasts and potential buyers participated in the show where Danish furniture companies like as Verpan, Onecollection A/S and Carl Hansen & Son are participating.

It was a combination of classic Danish design added som Asian opulence that were presented in Shanghai, when the Danish design exhibition opened with distinguished guests from home and abroad.

Danish exhibitors and speakers walked the red carpet into a magnificent exhibition hall, created on the basis of an ambitious Chinese project, that where build by Chinese authorities, cultural institutions and professional organizations.

Behind the project is China’s largest cultural organization ‘Chinese Culture Promotion Society’ that will build a platform for the exchange of design culture and highlight the modern lifestyle, Chinese architects, designers and college students can see how, in Denmark working with function, aesthetics and ease of use in design.
