Hans Sandgren Jakobsen and XUE Brand wins the iF DESIGN AWARD 2017

The Danish designer Hans Sandgren Jakobsen took a big scalp as he won gold for his veneer chair named ‘Daisy’ at the worlds most renowned design award, iF DESIGN AWARD 2017.

The name was chosen on the basis of the design, which is reminiscent of just one daisy, while the design is made in collaboration with one of Hans Sandgren Jakobsen’s Asian partners, The Fifth Season Furniture from the Chinese capital Beijing.

The award was secured in the category “home furniture” where Daisy chair among others received praises for its organic shape is inspired by the human body. The chair should support the right places and gives the illusion of sitting in flower, and the designer of the chair is of course both happy and proud.
