Meet Scandinavian brands and design talents at London Fashion Week
Re Present Scandinavia is the name of a common Scandinavian house that displays Norwegian, Swedish and Danish fashion brands during in London Fashioin Week. The aim is to create overall awareness of Scandinavian fashion design and you can meet more thatn 20 established Scandinavian fashion brands.
A common platform
Re Present focuses mainly around sales and strives to create a platform for each brand to form and grow new and lasting relationships with buyers and press. It strives to move forward from traditional trade shows where multitudes of visitors crowd the collections, sometimes creating a rather hostile and impersonal environment for designers to show their work
Re Present takes its home in an abandoned town house in Holborn just moments away from the buzz of Somerset House. Re Design will be exhibiting some of the newest and most unique graduate design talent to emerge from Scandinavia.
Re Design: Emerging Scandinavia
This season the exhibition will be accompanied by the Re Design: Emerging Scandinavia: an exhibition that shows the work of 12 design graduates from the best Scandinavian Design schools.
From Denmark you can see the work of Mathilde Maalouf, Niels Gundtoft Hansen, Tilde Bay Kristoffersen and Camilla Damkjær from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design, Via University College TEKO, Kolding School of Design and Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.
Re Design: Emerging Scandinavia also runs from 15 to 18 February 2014.
The exhibition is organized by the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish embassies in London with the British Council and the British Fashion Council. The Scandinavian House is an activity within the work with talent in the Innonet Lifestyle – Interior & Clothing.
