New name and identity
The Innovation Network Lifestyle – Interior & Clothing has changed its name January the 19th 2016 to Lifestyle & Design Cluster. The Innonet design previously consisted of the two individual logos of Development Centre UMT and Innovation Network Lifestyle – Interior & Clothing, but the graphic design has now been united in one circular logo. The organization and business focus will continue unchanged.
‘The logo symbolizes how a community of many small units can stretch, grow and come to shine. The essence is that together with our partners we are stronger concerning knowledge and bridge building in the fields of housing, furniture and clothing/textiles. An innovation network is a cluster that can branch and move, and this is the potential for creating far-reaching and significant achievements of the companies, we closely work with. Also, the new website benefits from the same thoughts behind the design of the logo, leaving the general expression as modern, bright and Scandinavian with a hint to a more sustainable lifestyle, says Director of Lifestyle & Design Cluster Betina Simonsen.
The logo’s round shape helps to create a welcoming expression, and the many small bubbles works moving and compelling in its expression and piques our curiosity.
‘The style is simple and modern its expression; it is clear and complements logo in a nice manner, as it also is soft expression. Conversely, it does not take focus from the logo; it is meant to to shine. The small green dots in the logotype is to connect logo and logotype together; they modulate the expression and obtains a luminous effect that subconscious creates the thesis that the bright and clear, growth and momentum: This is where ideas germinate, take root and eventually grows into sustainable vision. Each of the small bubbles can be interpreted either as individuals or thoughts and ideas that pop up ‘, says Lone Storgaard from design concern, the agency behind the design.
