“Increased Growth through Circular Business Models in SMCs” (CE SMC) is a three-year project intended to providing:

• Opportunity to future-proof the company by utilizing energy and resources more efficiently and making its product more sustainable.
• Insight into circular economy and the business potential of developing the business towards a circular business model.
• A STRATEGY for more efficient use of energy and resources and a PLAN for the development of a circular business track, prepared by a consultant.
• Opportunity for grants for INVESTMENTS needed to realize a shift to a circular business model in the business.

The project is funded by the EU’s Regional Fund Funds and is part of the Government’s circular economy strategy in Denmark and is intended to encourage companies to look at their use of resources and give them insight into circular thinking and the business potential that lies within the CE. The goal is for the participating companies, in collaboration with a professional and industry consultant, to develop a green business model and a plan for how to realize it.
