Strengthening of e-commerce and digitalization in SMVs.

Lifestyle & Design Cluster and Service Platform are happy to announce that project ”Digital Growth culture” in SMV’s is now confirmed. The project focuses on developing the digital competencies for employees and management in the company, alongside of networking between companies, so that they can learn from each other’s ways of working with digitalization. In addition, there is the implementation of targeted and personalized counselling programs for companies with a focus on digitalization and e-commerce. Service Platform has worked with digital retail-trade in different national projects for a long time.

”After a series of lectures in May and June, where we visited 18 cities with a lecture on the retail-trade of the future, we identified all the local success stories on retail-trading people, who throws themself into digital and e-commerce projects. Among this, we learned how much these initiatives provide the bottom lines of the companies. That is one thing I look forward to seeing how many more companies can obtain from this.” Says project leader Heidi Svane, from Lifestyle & Design Cluster and project partner at Service Platform.

Innovations networks, academies from all over the country, counsellors and professional organizations have joined together in the project on developing the digital competencies in small and medium companies, in order to create growth in the SMVs. It is important that the Danish business community catches the new possibilities within digitalization and e-commerce, for growth and employment in Denmark. That is why, there is now being set 10 million kroners aside under the national hub of EU’s socialfondsmidler for ”the strengthening of e-commerce and digitalization in small and medium companies”
