- What is your business case? (company age, mission)
I am a Researcher and Project Coordinator at Aarhus University. I am kind of the odd one out in the lab, coming from a knowledge institution, but I have a very good reason to sit there. I am part of a lot of the Lifestyle & Design Cluster activities around digitalisation, and I am running the Digital Fashion Roundtables project. I have been working with digitalisation for many years, now with a sharp focus on fashion and the possibilities that lie within.
- What do you expect to get out of moving into Lifestyle Lab?
I never quite felt comfortable sitting at the university all the time. As a hands-on kind of person, something has always been missing. Maybe I am just an odd bird in general, but sitting in the lab gives me an opportunity to start a conversation every day, and to move things forward. The people who work there or come by to visit have amazing networks and the greatest questions to ask. As a researcher, you can’t ask for a better thing than that.
- What are your ambitions for your business in the short/long term?
Currently, I am focusing most of my energy on a whitepaper on digital fashion and the metaverse. It is a fascinating process, especially going through the interview phase, and I am hoping it will lead me in the right direction. I would love to get more immersed in the industry, maybe with an industrial PhD in digital fashion or something similar. Any takers?
